Welcome to Croissant Museum of Poznan!

Our unique shows are a mix of interactive performance, culinary workshop… and comedy! 

Here, you will discover the secrets behind St. Martin’s Croissants, Poznan’s symbols, culture and history. We are located in the very heart of Poznań –  with a view of the beautiful Old Market Square and the famous billy goats. 

Get ready for:

  • Interesting stories, legends and facts about croisants and Poznan
  • Tasting of original St Marin Croissant

Croissant & Goat Shows

Full programme featuring croissant preparation & tasting and the goat’s view.

Approx 65 min

The 'Croissant show' includes:

  • preparation of St. Martin Croissants with the use of traditional utensils
  • revealing the original recipe and ingriedients
  • legends about its origin
  • tasting (included in the price, packed in sampling paper bags to take out)
  • some of Poznan’s unique local dialect
  • watching multimedia animation of Poznan’s history highlights
  • getting apprentice certificates (in Poznan dialect:)

'Goat show'

As ending point of shows starting at 14.00 or 11.00

In addition to all the elements from the regular croissant programme, the goat shows offer a possibility to watch the famous goats from the height of our windows, allowing you:

  • get direct view of the goats
  • listen to the story of the goats
  • sense a unique atmosphere high above the heads of tourists in Old Square
  • benefit from perfect view conditions even in bad weather!

Croissants & Souvenirs

Choose from a wide range of original souvenirs related to Poznan and St Martin’s Croissant. These include fresh St Martin Croissants, magnets, croissants jewellery and many more.

Souvenir shop is part of ticket office (at the entrance) open usually before and after shows. Cards (Mastercard, Visa), cash and BLIK are accepted.

Launched in case when the 14.00 show is fully booked or unavailable:

Does not include the goats’ view. Therefore there’s enough time to goats on your own at 15.00 on the Old Market Square.

Some shows listed above might be exclusive for prebooked groups or cancelled.

Facilities & Instructions

  • Toilets inside on the floors (when entered)
  • Cloakrooms inside on the floors
  • Air-conditioning / Heating when necessary
  • Large suitcase and trolleys can be stored in the building (unattanded), bikes can be attached outside (unattanded)
  • We are sorry but the staircase can not been adjusted for disabled access (no lift)
  • All guests are kindely asked to obey to the Museum staff’s safety and order instructions
  • Taking pictures is allowed during all show, but no video or voice recording is allowed
  • Please switch off sound in your phones
  • The open shows in English are held for all ages. For full experience we recommend visits of kids 3+ with parents’ supervision.
  • The Museum has a video surveillance system
